Pec Tip 1: The essential key to unlocking astounding chest growth is the stretch at the bottom of every chest exercise. That position should be maintained (static position) for a count of three and when you come to the completion of a set (that is when you hit positive failure) go back to that stretch position and maintain it for a good 10-15 seconds. The pain is agonizing, but the results in pectoral growth are worth it. Pec Tip 2: When performing the dumbbell press, make sure the little finger side of the dumbbells is always higher than the side with the thumb. The dumbbells should look as though they are going to crush into you. However, they will not fall. This placement minimizes the use of the triceps in performing the exercise. Pec Tip 3: When you lock out on the dumbbell press, rotate the dumbbells so that your elbows turn in towards your chest. This gives the best pectoral stimulation! |
