How To Build A Muscular Chest

The fastest way to build a muscular chest is with the incline bench press!

The Inclined Bench Press is a variation of the ordinary Bench Press! It uses an inclined bench adjusted to an angle of about 45 degrees. The best way to build a big upper chest is to use the incline press that is set at an angle of 25 degrees-this tends to place all the stress on the upper chest rather than the shoulders and triceps (which is what occurs at higher angles) -that is how to build a muscular chest!

This approximates the angle of movement in putting the shot, making it a useful exercise for putters. A barbell or dumb-bells can be used, the latter calling for more control of the weight and putting more stress on the muscles involved.

Here is how to build a muscular chest with the incline bench press

Press evenly from the starting position to arms' length above the chest , inhaling with the movement. Make sure the arms are fully locked at the end of the pressing movement, hold for a second, then lower steadily to the starting position.

Perform 2 sets of 5 repetitions, followed by 2 sets of 4

repetitions, then 3 sets of 3 repetitions.
